Straw Bale Workshop Autumn /Elektricity- and Installations / Clay Plaster
15.-19. October (STEP U2-Practice): We insulate the wooden post and beam construction with straw bales. The two-storey house on Wolfgangsee (near) stands on a screw foundation, has a ventilated straw bale-insulated floor and a straw bale roof.

22.-26. Oktober: Electricity and Installations in Straw Bale Walls: After the infill we will make electricity and installations and wind- and airtight window seals with hemp as well as plaster preparations (masking, reed stucco, …) under the expert guidance of our electrician Josef Burkhard and our trainers Gerhard Scherbaum, Karsten Bäsmann and Karin Julia Haas.
29. October -2. November: Clay Plaster on Straw Bale Walls: After electrics, installations, window seals and plaster preparations, the clay plaster is finally done under the guidance of our clay plasterer Toni Auer (Lehmkunst).
Participation in the Workshop: € 80,-/Person; € 50,- for Students, Food and Accomodation inkluded. The (one time) registration fee is for the whole workshops or parts of it. See also STEP-Training 2018 (U2). Travel at own costs.
