StrawHenge

The straw bale house, which consists half of prefabricated straw building modules, half of straw bale infill in the workshop or self-build on site. And it is as stable as Stonehenge, hence the name.

Transportable, flexible, versatile and economical in its use of resources. Price approx. € 2,600/m2 living area (incl. planning, construction, insulation, plaster, unfinished floors, roof, heating, installations, electrics)

Advantages: The prefabricated modules support the roof, so the TinyHouse is already rainproof after assembly.

The infill of the spaces between the modules can be carried out on site in the workshop or by DIY, as there are no load-bearing walls. Windows and doors can also be inserted individually. The roof can be designed as a flat roof with a green roof, as a reciprocal construction or as a conical roof. A second storey can be placed on the ground floor. StrawHenge is also suitable for circular buildings or chain line vaults. And if you don’t want to prefabricate it yourself or wait for StrohNatur to prefabricate it, StrawHenge can also be erected using ready-made modules from Lorenzsysteme (DD34). In Austria, these can also be ordered via asbn/StrohNatur.
